PODCAST EDITING PROCESS

During the editing progress, I used the mobile app "CapCut" for the editing.

During the first stages of my editing progress, I was already quite familiar with the app as I've used the app quite a few times in the past for personal projects such as the jump cut video and camera angle videos, but during the first few weeks of the editing was a bit slow as not much of the audio has been done, the only thing I've done was putting the raw audio with the logo picture as we were busy planning out everything.

During the final weeks I finished my editing in about a day each for both podcasts. Some of the effects I used were available in the CapCut app, and some I used from YouTube, and converted them to mp3 by using a YouTube to mp3 converter I found online:

And during the 2nd podcast, I used quite a fair bit of beeping sounds during Raphael's interview as he said quite a few curse words, I did this as I believe that our podcast should be deserved to be listened by students in our school, and I do not want anyone to be uncomfortable while listening to the podcast.

After that it all comes down to just lining them up to the correct timing, and In the end I've learned how time consuming editing can be especially in a device such as the phone, although using this app delivered quite impressive results, it still could have been better, and the sound effects that I used could have been a bit more refined and could have blended in better to the audio but overall I was satisfied with my results and the effort I put into the editing.
